Abstract
East Indian women with their children outside an ajoupa or tapia hut. The walls of these types of huts are usually made from a mixture of clay, grass, cow dung and water while the roof is usually made from carat or palm leaves. Affixed to the postcard are a 1, 2 and 12 cents Trinidad and Tobago stamps. The postcard has been defaced so the name of the addressee is obscured from view.
