Abstract

This is a vintage photograph of a cave in Trinidad, British West Indies. One of Trinidad’s most visited caves can be found at Gasparee or Gaspar Grande Island off the north-west coast of Trinidad. This might be the Gasparee caves or one of the many other caves at Trinidad in areas such as: North-West Trinidad including Las Cuevas, La Vache Bay, Point Rouge, east, north and west Monos, east and north Huevos, east Chacachacare; Diego Martin to Maracas Valley; Caura Valley; Lopinot Valley; Arima Valley; Aripo Valley; Oropuche Valley or the Central Range. Caves are one of Trinidad’s treasured natural resources.
