dc.description.abstractGov't sends grants for T&T students at UWI campuses abroad. The government is concerned about the 184 T&T nationals who remain on the University of the West Indies campuses abroad. As a result, financial assistance has been sent to each of them. Communications Minister DONNA COX says that the Ministry of Finance has ensured that students abroad receive financial aid. She explains that Finance Ministry wired grants to the UWI bursars valued at US$300 or TT $2,000 for food supplies for each student. (Network News)
