A picture of labourers husking the coconuts for its copra. A description on the back of the postcard reads "Husked Coco-nuts are an important export of Trinidad and Tobago. Prior to shipment it is necessary to remove the thick coating of coir fibre, known as the husk, from the nut. This is done with the help of the point of a hoe, or a stout sharp stake. Both methods are shown in the picture." Postcard number B 11.en
