dc.description.abstractThis year is being celebrated as the golden anniversary of Ellie Mannette, a pan pioneer, that tuned a 55-gallon oil drum 50 years ago. There have been concerts, festivals, workshops and lectures throughout the US to commemorate Mannette's anniversary. Mannette who resides in the US will unveil a newly design pan on July 27.en_US
