Abstract
Gerry Gomez, born in 1919, distinguished himself as a right hand batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut in Test Cricket against England in 1939 and served West Indian cricket in a number of different capacities: as radio broadcaster, umpire, tour master and administrator of the West Indian Cricket Board of Control.
