Abstract
The article comments on the origins of Phase Two which was formed after a dozen young men picked up their drumsticks and walked out of CIBC Starlift, one of the top steelbands in Trinidad. The lads felt that the band was 'not progressive enough' and with their revolutionary zeal, formed their own band to begin arranging what they called 'good music'.
