Abstract
This postcard, from Trinidad's Colonial past, shows what was typically seen on driving through the forest on Matura Road at that time. The convex shaped road is unpaved and littered with shriveled, dry leaves. The majestic, mature, forest trees line the road on either side, causing shadows to be cast on its surface.
