Abstract

The image shows a group of four (4) young men in a cane-field with cutlasses and pieces of sugar cane in their hands. The young men are dressed in the same attire, long sleeve shirts, long pants, with hats on their heads. On the back Barbados – (undecipherable) 1930? Dear Stevie , I am plenty by little boys (but black ones) eating sugar cane like you as candy and chewing gum. These little chaps never have to bother with leggings or galoshes or heavy coats. The same (undecipherable) suit does for all year round and for every day till it falls apart. Love Winea?? Addressed to: Master Steve Willer, 526 Essex Ave, Narberth, Mont.
