Abstract
Presents an image of the colonial deputed seal for Barbados, known as the Barbados Coat of Arms showing King Charles II. This coat of arms reflected the colonial administration’s focus on control of the seas and maritime commerce. Within the coat of arms are the following words – ET. PENITVS. TOTO. REGNANTES. ORBE. BRITANNOS. This is a divided back postcard. Back of postcard A05 £4- (Handwritten in pencil).
