Abstract
A large tree takes prominence in the middle of the square. It is a street scene with several persons engaged in various types of activity; one female vendor carrying her goods on a tray atop her head. Some commercial buildings are visible, such as Cooper's Photo Studio and The Mutual Building which is visible just beyond the big tree. Horse drawn carts line both sides of the street.
On the front of the postcard is a Barbados, One Penny Stamp.
