Abstract
A female mauby vendor sells the drink to a male customer from a container atop her head. In the background is the Careenage and a partial view of the Parliament Building. This is a divided back postcard.

Note: Barbados, March 1954. We arrived here by air from Bermuda a few days ago! Perfectly lovely here 85 degrees, quite warm! We go to Trinidad for today. Then onto British Panama.
