Abstract
American journalist Charles Hillinger, in an article which appeared in the "Los Angeles Times" attempted to describe the steelband and trace its history in Trinidad. While a great deal of research went into the piece, some of the 'facts' will undoubtedly be "news" to Pan Trinbago.
