Abstract
Several guests, seated around umbrella covered tables, relax outside the Sandy Lane Hotel. The architecture of the building is clearly visible. Handwritten note on back of card reads: "Well, I bet this is a surprise to you. In a fit of madness we decided to come out here and within five days we were here. This hotel is near the [Marina] which we haven't been to yet. It is gorgeous weather and getting nice and brown. You will get this after the long cruise which I hope went well. Love to everybody and Max sends his. Love Gill Brown." Card addressed to: Mrs. Angela Paton, [Histers RMS Anders], McGregor, Gow and Holland, Terminus House Southhampton, England. Two 8 cents stamps showing intercolonial schooner are affixed at back.
