dc.description.abstract | Here we see the Queen’s Park Savannah at the foothills of the Northern Range. There are trees around the circumference and a few buildings (perhaps the pavilion, left and centre). The horse racing track, marked with little white fences, can faintly be seen and the little flecks of white in the grassy areas could be animals grazing. The first recorded horse race took place here in 1828 and horse racing at the Savannah ended in 1994. | en |
