Abstract
In this vintage photograph of the Great Cave on Gasparee - which is also known as Gaspar Grande - of the north-west coast of Trinidad, British West Indies, one can see the fascinating sculptures formed through the erosion of this limestone island by water. The “Liana Curtain” here looks like a long thin curtain or vine hanging in front of the cave’s sharp, craggy back wall. The caves are one of Trinidad’s tourist attractions.
