Abstract
This is a frontal view of the impressive monument which was placed at War Memorial Park, Port of Spain, in honour of Trinidad and Tobago nationals who served and died in World Wars I and II, 1914-1918 and 1939-1945. One of its four walkways, leading to the Cenotaph at the center, is featured prominently in the foreground. In the background, obscured by bushes, there is a residence and what looks like a church. The monument was installed on 28 June 1924 at what was once called the Small Savannah which was renamed “War Memorial Park".
