The resignation of Pan Trinbago's president, Arnim Smith creates a threat to the decision to host Panorama 1984. A meeting was held to put forward proposals to panmen for a decision on the pan competition. Additionally, four steelbands have threatened legal action against the continuation of the contest following the inclusion of Jet Age Valley Harps in the North zone finals.en_US
