dc.description.abstractThis image shows an aerial view of Bridgetown overlooking Broad Street. The busy street scene shows many persons going about their daily activities. Evidence of the transportation options of the times are shown in the automobile in the foreground and the horse drawn carriage in the background. Many commercial buildings line the street, including “Murphy and Gittens Parlour”. The most visible architectural features of the buildings are the roof work and the windows.
