Abstract
The postcards shows a man standing next to a massive Banyan tree. This tree originated from India and the fruit it produces is called a fig. The tree has a number of uses for example the bark of the tree is suitable for manufacturing paper. This postcard is addressed to Blanche Miller of Baltimore, Maryland, United States and affixed to the postcard is a one cent United States postage stamp.
