This multi-view postcard bears the images of five places of interest around the island of Trinidad in the British West Indies. These are: La Tinta Bay, which is a popular beach on Chacachacare, one of the islands off Trinidad; the Queen's Park Hotel, which was opened in 1895 and at that time was reputed to be the largest hotel in the West Indies; the Convict Depot which is the island where prisoners were taken in the 1800s and where they laboured quarrying limestone that was used for road building. Today, the island remains a prison island. The other two places of interest on the postcard are the Bocas islands, located between Trinidad and Venezuela and a marine residence that is located on one of the islands off Trinidad.en_US
