Abstract

Here is a photograph of wide, paved, street in a village or town. Some of the town's houses are made of wood and others of concrete but both types have wooden louvered windows and doors and wooden stairs. The sidewalks are unkempt but the residents have many lush trees, including a Royal palm at right, growing in their gardens. About three of the residents, simply and casually dressed, can be seen at the side of the road at right and one man is walking down the centre of the road.
