Abstract

This classic scenic photograph illustrates what this area looked like during this era. The strong, concrete posted, steel-plated bridge that occupies the centre of the photograph is juxtaposed against the thickly wooded landscape on either side of it. A fresh, feathery, coconut palm seems to stand guard near the entrance to the bridge, as a young couple rests leisurely on the bridge admiring the scenery.
