Abstract: The image shows a group of seven women doing their laundry outside. The women are suing the nearby rocks to lay their washing out to dry. In the background is a panoramic view of the countryside,there is also a vast view of the island in the background. The ladies are washing their clothes and hanging them on the rocks to dry. This is a divided back postcard. Back of the postcard Letter: New Year’s Eve 1.00 at Barbados, B.W.I. Just leaving Barbados now for homeward bound, expect me arriving 18th or 19th January.
