Abstract
This article comments that while Panorama is an occasion for fete and bacchanal for some, to the panman it is a time for sacrifice, seriousness and devotion. The panmen lament that there were unruly sections of crowd that were completely unaware or maybe not caring that the preliminary round was the most serious annual competition for panmen.
