Abstract

This article discusses Len ‘Boogsie’ Sharpe’s performance at the 2000 World Steelband Music Festival. Sharpe’s two solo performances helped the TCL Skiffle Bunch to win the title of the World’s Best Playing Steel Orchestra, while Sharpe was declared the world’s best pan arranger and composer.
