Abstract
In this report, the GATT panel report is release in Geneva; Jim Cloos talks about the impact the EU's decision to withdraw their offer of increase import quotas to dollar banana producers will ultimately have; Ian Fairley reports on the political situation in the Dominica Republic in the lead up to elections; Haitian and American officials disagree; Hatitian refugees continue to be an issue for the Bahamas and there are efforts underway in Jamaica to promote a positive image of Jamaicans.
