Item Cannon Ball Tree, Trinidad, B.W.I.(2010-05-19T13:59:52Z)The Cannon ball tree is indigenous to South America and the South Caribbean. Its scientifc name is Couroupita guianensis. This postcard is addressed to Miss Golden Sands of Missouri,United States and affixed is a penny postage stamp. The postmark date is Februrary 1906.Item Coolie Hut in Trinidad(Stephens and Scott Ltd., The Stores, Trinidad, 2010-03-04T13:04:02Z)The postcard features an ajoupa (hut), the walls of these huts are made from a mixture of clay, grass, cow dung and water while the roof is usually made from carat or palm leaves.
