African Americans in the United States are opposing the war in the Gulf and are claiming that 30% of the military force in the war are Black Americans despite the fact the United States population only consist of 7% African Americans. Although, Black Americans have filed Conscience Objector claims, they are not being heard and they are forced to participate in the war. In Cuba, there is growing speculation that Roberto Robaina may be the successor to Fidel Castro. Journalist, Mark Cooper, has published an article where he looks at the rise of Roberto Robaina and his relationship with Fidel Castro.
