The store appears to be owned by a family of East Indian origin, as one of the two ladies tending the shop is wearing a long white veil or odhni, typically worn by East Indian women in Trinidad. Both ladies are wearing long dresses. There are three children in the shop. They might be children of one of the ladies. There are about seven people in long white clothing walking toward a public transport vehicle which might be either a tram or a bus, mid way down the street. One man, standing right of the shop, is staring in the direction of this vehicle. All the buildings in the street seem to be made of wood.Item Rustic Scenery, Trinidad(Davidson and Todd Ltd., Trinidad, 2010-03-31T14:17:40Z)This black and white postcard depicts rustic scenery in Trinidad circa 1911. Next to her at the left of the photograph is a man in a shirt with tie, pants and hat. He is posing with his bicycle. Behind this pair is a man, of African descent, in an unbuttoned shirt worn over another shirt, pants and he is holding something on his head. The threesome is standing under a spectacular arch made by the tall bamboo that is growing on either side of the road.Item Type Of Indian Woman, Trinidad(Wilsons Ltd., Trinidad, 2008-12-05T18:00:32Z)East Indian woman in traditional Indian wear.
