Dalgliesh, San Fernando, Trinidad; Printed in Saxony, 2009-11-06T13:20:36Z)Sugar cane labourers with their bullock (oxen) carts which were used to transport harvested sugar cane to the mills in Trinidad. Among the workers are the supervisors of the sugar estate on horse back. Several persons are seen standing outside the building watching the fire.Item [Rock Island, Five Islands, Trinidad, B.W.I.](2011-03-14)The postcard features Rock Island which belongs to the group the "Five Islands" which are actually a group of six islands, also known as Las Cortorras located west of Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad, in the Gulf of Paria. Rock Island, which has been used as a holiday home and a quarantine depot, is the second smallest island in the group. It measures roughly 50 metres by 30 metres and consists of mainly limestone.Item San Juan Road and River, Trinidad, B.W.I.(Unknown, 2011-02-24)The postcard shows some peasants walking along a bridge in San Juan, Trinidad.
