    Elections in Haiti has been postponed amidst accusations that the Opposition is being excluded from the electoral process. The Island Council elections in Saint Martin ended in a tie between the two major political parties - the St. Martin Patriot Alliance and the Democratic party. As a result, this gives the smaller and more recent political party, the Serious Alternative People's Party which won one seat, the balance of power.
