Tensions have gripped the Jamaican money markets a few days before the presentation of the 1995/96 budget. Errol Gregory, Managing Editor of Money Index magazine explains why the money markets are so jittery at this time. As thousands of school children in the region prepare for exams set by the Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), teachers criticise the exams as too difficult and syllabuses too burdensome.
