The index attempts to establish some relationship between teaching periods and class size in evaluating the efficiency of staff deployment.Item Some issues in the construction of educational indicators in the Caribbean(1995-03) Vanloo, CoolsThis paper provides two examples of the problems that may be encountered in the generation of valid indicators. It recommends the development of a manual of educational indicators containing: 1) a list of standard indicators, 2) definitions of indicators, 3) methods of calculating indicators, 4) uses of indicators.
