    This study is a review of the financing of the entire education sector in Guyana. It examines financing sources in education, patterns of expenditure on education, as well as the impact of expenditure on efficiency and equity in the education sector. The study is aimed at: 1) identifying opportunities for improving education efficiency and equity, 2) exploring options for mobilizing additional opportunities for education and cost savings, and 3) assessing the government’s capacity for meeting the counterpart requirements implied by investment in education from all sources.

    This is an educational finance and cost model for Trinidad and Tobago. The structure of the model is as follows: 1) Data input (Parameters and assumptions); 2) Component 1: enrolment projection; 3) Component 2: Teacher supply and demand; 4) Component 3: Projection of recurrent costs of education; 5) Component 4: Projection of capital costs of education; 6) Component 5: Financial feasibility of educational spending; and 7) Component 6: Educational coverage (GER).
