    This paper looks closely at the development of human resources with special reference to managerial skills, services (with emphasis on the sub-sectors of tourism, banking and finance), agro-industry, and petrochemicals. It also identifies inputs necessary for the development of a national manpower information system, an integrated training policy, and an effective manpower planning machinery
