    The publication reflects the results of a collaboration between the Tertiary Level Institutions Unit (TLIU) of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and over 40 tertiary level institutions in the Caribbean region, focusing on the theme, “A Decade of Growth in Tertiary Education in the CARICOM region: Access, Quality, Relevance and Institutional Development (1996-2006)”. In addition to statistical data, it also includes profiles of the collaborating institutions, highlighting new developments, major milestones, special events, and innovations.
