    Guyana’s privatization programme is to be made public at the end of this month. The government of the Bahamas continues to defend its policy of repatriating Haitians despite fears of persecution by the army. In an interview with correspondent Mike Jarvis - Speaker of the Bahamas Parliament - Vernon Symonette says the policy has to be pursued because the country cannot cope with the strain on the country’s economy’s resources from 40, 000 illegal Haitians already there.
