    The authorities in the Dominican Republic say a man who was injured in clashes between protestors and police on Tuesday has died in hospital. Next, South Africa is confident of gaining partial membership of the Lome Convention, smoothing the way for a free trade deal with the European Union. In the following, there is increasing concern in Britain about the health of a number of asylum seekers at Worcester Prison near London. The detainees come from a number of countries including Jamaica.
