    Pan goes to Court mere hours before the North Zone Panorama finals are held. A High Court Judge will decide on two writs filed against the Joint Management Committee of Pan Trinbago and the Carnival Development Committee (CDC) by Jet Age Valley Harps and WITCO Desperadoes Steel Orchestras. Both steelbands are claiming that there was improper adjudication at the zonal preliminaries.

    Phillips: National Support Needed for Steelband Festival

    Dr. Daphne Phillips has called for national support for the World Steelband Festival. Dr. Phillips told the Senate, during the budget debate, the festival could not be successful without the support of the Government, Pan Trinbago and the national community.
