    The postcard depicts anchored boats in the Careenage with a few men on board what seems to be a cargo boat. Information at the back: (Barbados 12 cents Stamp, GPO Barbados Stamp, 15 April, 1969 & Stamp with " In Sunny Barbados") "Mr. &Mrs. Clarence Laraway, 63 Lower Parish, Potsdam New York. Greetings - Today we stopped at Nevis. It is a very small island without much to see or do. It is so hot I got sun burn standing under a tree. Tonight there will be a masquerade ball and a show. The master of (ceremonie) ceremony has a show every night and he is great. We stop at Barbados tomorrow. We were told it is a beautiful place. Time flies too fast. Love to all… Vicki" 3/13/69.
