    Miss Christina Sutherland, originally from Durham, England, was Principal of Bishop Anstey High School from 1950 to 1964. She was the last of the four non-Trinidadian principals of Bishop Anstey and took the school through a very important era in the history of education in Trinidad and Tobago. She also taught in Carriacou before retiring to her homeland. At the time of the interview, Miss Sutherland, aged 88, was living in Malborough, Devon, England. The interview was done to mark the 75th Anniversary of Bishop Anstey High School, which was celebrated during 1996.
