    This report highlights how residents of Montserrat are coping with the changes on the third day of evacuation after increasde activity at the volcano. British volcanologist, Dr. William Aspinall states that chances of a major eruption can not be discounted. Meanwhile, the Eastern Caribbean must keep an eye on the region's latest tropical storm Iris. The Acting Director of the Barbados Met Services, Peter Drakes comments that additional strengthening of the storm is possible. The Guyana government has declared the area affected by the Omai Gold Mine cyanide spill as an environmental disaster zone. President Cheddi Jagan comments that the immediate priority was stopping the spill and protecting the environment. Dr. Karen Sealey of the Barbados-based PAHO said the organization is already involved in the move to minimise the effects of the spill. In cricket, West Indies captain Richie Richardson is optimistic about the crucial sixth and final test between England and the West Indies. Hugh Crosskill gives his thoughts on what promises to be a thrilling finale to the series.
