    An informal conversation between mom, Ava and her midwife Veronica. Ava recalls her birth experience. Prior to delivery, Ava had eight ultrasounds and was told she was having a girl, to prepare she bought everything pink for her baby only to be surprised on the day of delivery to give birth to a boy.She discusses how the home birth differed from the birth in the hospital. She shares how having a home birth made it easier for her son to latch on for breastfeeding.

    Ava is a stay at home mother of three children. Her oldest child who is twelve years old, was born at Gulf View Medical Centre, La Romain. For the second child she had her second child at the Center. Her third child was born at home.
