One of its four walkways, leading to the Cenotaph at the center, is featured prominently in the foreground. The full length of the monument, with all its statues and stairs, is clearly visible and it is surrounded by palms. The building to the right in the photograph looks like a church. The monument was installed on 28 June 1924, at what was once called the Small Savannah. There is a bench in the foreground and someone, dressed in white, is standing on the stairs.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsWar Memorial ParkMonumentsMemorialsPalms"War Memorial", P:O:S: TrinidadImage
