Trams ran on tracks on the street. There was a red tram and a blue tram. This photograph displays the red tram which travelled to Cocorite. The street is lined with mostly coconut palms. There is a vintage car almost alongside the red tram. Three people are walking in the street. The one most visible is wearing a long white robe, with long sleeves. What appears to be a small hut can be seen among the bushes at the right of the photograph.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsCable cars (Streetcars)--Trinidad and TobagoRural roads--Trinidad and TobagoCarriages and carts--Trinidad and TobagoCoconut palm--Trinidad and Tobago1907Cocorite with tramway, TrinidadImage
