A new judge in the U.S. will be presiding over the case of 6 year old Elian Gonzalez, the Cuban boy caught in the middle of an international dispute. This replacement is due to the fact that the judge originally slated for this court matter had suffered a stroke. He was expected to hear opposition of the ruling to send Elian back to Cuba.
