The statues on it are clearly visible. The monument is inscribed with the words “In honour of all who served. In memory of those who fell.” War Memorial Park referred to by locals as “Memorial Park” is surrounded by Frederick Street to the west, Charlotte Street to the east, the Queen’s Park Savannah to the north and Keate Street to the south.
