The Oilfield Workers Trade Union (OWTU) is calling on the Ministry of Finance to honor a judgement handed down to the employees of the University of the West Indies. Workers attached to UWI St Augustine were given an eight percent salary increase when the industrial court delivered a judgement last August. However, to date employees have yet to receive the adjustments to their salaries, or their retroactive pay.
