The impressive war monument here was installed in honour of Trinidad and Tobago nationals, who served and died in World Wars from 1914-1918 and 1939-1945. Tall trees with vivid green foliage surround the monument and a wooden and wrought iron bench awaits the tired. This photograph may have been taken in the ‘dry season’ as all the grassy areas are mostly earth. There are buildings in the background.enPlease contact the Main Library, The University of the West Indies for permission to use the digitized images. wimail@sta.uwi.eduTrinidad and TobagoPostcardsTrees--Trinidad and TobagoMemorials--Trinidad and TobagoMonuments--Trinidad and TobagoWorld War, 1914-1918--Monuments--Trinidad and TobagoWorld War, 1939-1945--Monuments--Trinidad and TobagoSchoolboys--Trinidad and TobagoBenches--Trinidad and TobagoParks--Trinidad and TobagoBuildings--Trinidad and TobagoWar Memorial Park (Port of Spain)Memorial Park, TrinidadImage
